When in Texas

For an authentic-as-you-want-it-to-be Texas cowboy (or cowgirl) experience, spend your downtime in the Fort Worth Stockyards.  Shop for a ten gallon hat (or that straw one you’ve always wanted), eat the biggest steak you’ve ever

seen or mouthwatering BBQ or the best Tex-Mex you’ll find, maybe catch a gunfight.  Then head to your choice

of music and dance venues to finish off the night.  Measuring three acres, Billy Bob’s Texas is one of the largest

live music venues around; it is known as the world’s largest honky tonk.  Regardless of how you spend

your time in the stockyards, when you leave you will really understand what we mean when we say

“Y’all come back now,” because you will want to.  Check it out at www.fortworthstockyards.org.
